Johnny Rack is creating the Next Generation.
Due to overwhelming demand, Johnny Rack is taking it to the next level. A 2nd
Generation Johnny Rack is under development. Johnny Rack 2.0 will help us
meet the growing demand for more Bike on Bike capability and functionality.
With the help of great customer feedback and a number of good discussions
on blogs around the world, the Johnny Rack 2.0 will make the racks accessible
to more people, on more models at a better value.
In the meantime we will continue to sell "1st Generation" racks at a great price.

The 2nd Generation Rack includes:
...an integrated bicycle attachment (no longer requiring the additional purchase
of the Yakima BOA attachment).
...the option of carrying your rear wheel off of the bicycle to shorten the load
and decrease the effects of cross-winds.
...easier mount adjustment from Road to Mountain bike
